Loop TT-Victory at the hight court against buggery law

At LAST!!! At LAST!!! We congratulate all the members of CAFRA, Silver Lining, COIN etc who stood together for this victory. We won!!! This is a landmark day in the history of the Caribbean as the high court judge ruled in favor of Jason Jones and declared section 13 and 16 unconstitutional, illegal, null and void and are no effect to the extent that these laws criminalize any acts constituting consensual sexual conduct between adults.

A call for comprehensive sex education

Here in Guyana, as is true in other Caribbean countries and the world at large, we have a sex-driven culture. From the music we play to the things we buy, somewhere along the line, we are bombarded with sexual innuendos and images. Culture of course shapes society and thought patterns; so while sex in itself is not a bad thing, not placing importance on comprehensive sexual education is.

We need to have safe access to abortion

ABORTION. It is a word that more often than not causes a fierce divide amongst the populace. The procedure in which an embryo or fetus is deliberately terminated by the host before it can survive outside of the uterus is one that has always been mired in controversy.
